Hello and welcome! I'm Sway Gutierez, a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) committed to fostering a therapeutic space that is safe, confidential, and respectful. My aim is to establish a therapeutic alliance with open communication, encouraging self-exploration to deepen your understanding of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

 

I believe in harnessing the internal strengths we all possess to navigate life's challenges. By accessing these strengths, we can explore issues and develop strategies that promote a fuller, more satisfying life. I am dedicated to tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering healing. While I work with individuals and families of all ages, my specialization lies in adolescents and young adults.

 

My experience encompasses a wide range of needs, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, behavioral concerns, gender identity, and LGBTQIA+. I find great joy in the continuous learning and growth that comes with being a therapist, and I appreciate the diversity of the individuals I work with.​This journey is about you, and your experience is the focal point. I am here to listen, guide, and support you as you create the life you desire.
